If I was rewriting G4, the pre-Equestrian era would be scavenging under endless, dim moonlight. The sun was created by unicorns but its benefits are only truly felt when pegasi and earth ponies tend to the skies and the lands respectively, thus allowing for the thriving pony civilization we see today.

I was about to write that I was already 15 by the time I learned about the show. But by now this is closer to the target age range then it is to the present day.

My introduction to MLP was shitty greentext readings and pony animations on youtube that I watched on my mom's laptop I had only watched like 8-10 full episodes by the time I first decided to use 4chan (and 1 day after, /mlp/). Then I watched the first 2 seasons on my own before watching the entire thing during the 2020 anniversary stream The only episode I remember disliking was Castle Mane-ia and the ones I liked the best were The Cutie Mark Chronicles and May The Best Pet Win, especially their songs
