Anyone else struggling right now to keep the magic alive? I've accepted that my pony fixation isn't as intense as it was 10+ years ago and it comes and goes in waves these days but lately even the waves seem to be shorter lived and farther apart.

i'm a fresh newfag joining the fandom in early 2024 so i have yet to experience what do all of you mean but from what i'm reading it feels to me exactly the same as me feeling down and clutching on to nostalgia of a video game i played in my childhood, only to find i just grew up and isn't what it was but that doesn't mean it won't hold a special place in your heart, won't it? can't guarantee the magic will return, but it was there and it truly was unforgettable journey that's a pretty wild guess though. i need a confirmation if it's the same thing here

Does anyone else here think that Skyrim peaked during the Steam workshop days? I remember mods working a lot better back then with eachother. I'd like to mod New Vegas so I can replay it with a fresh coat of paint and some new quests, but Nexus feels like such trash to use anymore.
